Hacking Applications
Application security is one of the most important concerns in the field of information security. This is because a growing number of attacks are being directed at applications that are usually able to bypass any installed firewalls, anti-virus software and intrusion detection systems. Most attacks are targeted against Web applications.

Hacking web applications
This is because almost every firewall allows Web traffic in and out of the network. Some of the possible attacks that can be carried out are the transmission of malware and the capture of confidential information. Other things that hackers can do are crashing servers, capturing and recording telephone conversations, gathering information about internal network configurations like host names and IP addresses, and reading e-mails that are stored in the servers or workstations.
