Preventing Violence in Schools

Yes, violence and abuse in schools are unacceptable, yet existent in some cases. However, parents or guardians can protect their kids from such traumatic events by choosing the ideal school.

Violence free school grounds
Administrators are primarily responsible in promoting and maintaining security within their jurisdiction. They need to establish and execute a variety of practices to safeguard students and staff. Doors and gates must be guarded and locked. School grounds and buildings must be monitored day and night. Access to the school must be limited or restricted. Schools may install metal detectors, security cameras and drug sweeps. On top of this, students and staff alike must be subjected to proper disciplinary measures if they violate rules. Behaviour must be managed to prevent campus violence.
