Seat Belt Safety
Car accidents are frequent and, to a large extent, involve young passengers. Children who ride vehicles without seat belts or child seats could be seriously injured or die in car accidents. This is because they have relatively larger and heavier heads in proportion to their bodies, making them more vulnerable as they are thrown forward.

Safety belts for safer ride
Drivers as well as passengers of all ages - from infants to adults - must be fastened in their car seats. If there are more passengers than seat belts, children under three years old must be fastened first. Normally, kids who are used to seat belts no longer protest about sitting on child seats. Even so, babies should not sit on a child seat longer than 30 minutes since they do not have fully developed bodies yet. Parents must take occasional breaks if they take their baby on a long trip.
