Solving Social Problems
Societies are gravely affected by the spread of the HIV/AIDS virus. Governments see this issue as both a security threat and a crisis. In Southern Africa, for example, much of political instability and social unrest spring from the disease. The youth suffering from social alienation are driven to do criminal acts. The armed forces and police are having a hard time curbing the situation plaguing the society. Additionally, the members of these departments are at risk of contracting the disease as most young males are sexually active.

Virus free society
Social disruption, instability, poverty and hunger that stem from HIV/AIDS are placing many regions in a state of emergency. The issue, however, can be remedied by proper education and being proactive. Although it takes time, as societies work hand in hand to reach out and help each other, there should be no social problem impossible to solve.
